Bringing you claymations since 2005

The Movie!

Trivia

-This movie was the holder of 'Longest Movie', at 14mins 11 secs until Trouble With Trains II.

- The entire intro was painstakingly edited using a paint program.

- Green has not appeared in a movie since Mouse Attack!. It is explained that he was on holiday, but in reality he had been lost. He was found underneath the bed.

- Many of the character models have been altered or replaced. Green has a much less round head, Crystal is taller, has larger... hmmm..., Yellow is no longer covered in fluff and Blue was changed to his new model in the second scene. Only Red hasn't been changed, since there is a noticeable shortage in his colour.

- TurboJ is actually poking fun at himself. "Webdoodz: All Your Base" was a short movie made in November 2005. He posted it on Newgrounds, where it instantly plummeted, simply because it was AYB. Newgrounds is biased.

- Crystal finally speaks!!!

- Reggie is talking to the guitar person.

- The characters now have proper eyebrows (as opposed to lines carved into their heads aka TTWT or looking like Spiderman aka The Bee).

- The audio gradually goes out of sync.

- The 'talking NES' is a reference to Big Man Restless, as is Blue's act.

- Green can't spell.

- According to the posters, the movie is set back in September 06, with the show being on the 3rd. This means that this movie comes before The Bee, but it's possible the claypeople aren't good with numbers as Green says the auditions are on the 1st. The show is 5 days after auditions, so Green got that wrong entirely.

- Red's audition was inspired by Rex the Runt.

- Yellow's tie was clay and a drawing pin.

- The drummer in the band is Snap Lockitt from  Lego Island.

- When the audio goes fuzzy, it is implied that Mr Director simply isn't paying attention. However, that was a mistake during the recording of the song.

- In total, the band audition took up at least 1000 frames: almost a quarter of the scene.

- The guns the Penguin juggles are hardened clay. They were slightly burned, but they move too fast for anyone to notice.

- In the final part of the Penguin's act, the wires are not present at all.

- Oddjob's act is a reference to Mouse Attack!

- Big Man Restless was originally meant to have Blue wearing sunglasses. He finally receives them in his act.

- The audio to Blue's act is of CD quality, as opposed to the LP quality of the song in the original movie.

- The song Guitar Guy plays was actually played by his human counterpart. It was recorded via Webcam microphone, explaining the poor quality.

- Neon's act sees the return of Sir Killalot, as well as 2 other robots. The song that plays was also heard in When Bad Robots Go Worse!

- The phone number Mr Director dials is a real number...

- It might be possible that Mr Director's first name is Edward, making his full name Mr E. Director (bad pun alert).

- Mr Director could be American, judging by his accent.

- Salisbury is a real place. Just so you all know.

- The lead workman has a crappy West Country accent. The man in the helmet sounds like Andy from Little Britain.

- The montage was made in Flash.

- In the third picture, Mr Director is looking at all of the space still available on the Desk. This picture was taken after TurboJ bought a flatscreen monitor, which reduced the space taken up dramatically.

- The Stage was made from cardboard, masking tape and TurboJ's neckerchief.

- This movie marks Ivor Whigg's first online speaking role.

- The outside cinematic shows Draco Malfoy being followed by girls, three lego aliens, the Metroliner and the King of Town walking past the booking office.

- Bubs is seen working the booking office. He then walks into the backstage area, holding money. A TIE Pilot then follows him out.

- The Proffessionals are actually two of Knox's klaymen.

- There were 126 people in the crowd.

- The crowd noise contains several easter eggs, with one being very obvious. Try to find them all!

- The spotlight was a very large torch. During the Penguin's act, it changes to a mini Maglite (not that you'd be able to see it.

- The webcam is crap in the dark, as you can no doubt tell.

-The Penguin is not actually called 'Pingie'.

- The most painful part of the movie was recording the Penguin choking. TurboJ regularly went into coughing fits whilst recording.

- Taking advantage of the darkness, the Penguin and Green were towed off using a piece of wire.

- The amplifier goes all the way to 11.

- The Guitar Guy's music was a simple midi, shortened down drastically because I couldn't remember how the song actually went.

- The explosion hole was actually a piece of card, coloured black and set on fire temporarily. You can just see smoke rising through the darkness.

- The klaymen die in a very Knoxish way.

- The toilet and desk were both made from Lego.

- The Talent Show Cup is made from tin-foil.

- The song "Sweet Victory" plays when Yellow holds the Cup above his head. Note that this is the FULL version of the song, and NOT the version heard in Spongebob Squarepants.

- There is a lot of graffiti on the back of the Hippodrome. Can you read all of it?

- In total, the movie has well over 10,000 frames and took at least four months to write, record and animate.

Goofs

- The claypeople's "necks" (actually cocktail sticks or pieces of wire) are seen too many times.

- During the fade in the first scene, there is a white border around the images. Damn Flash!

- As Green breathes in, the speaker in the background moves.

- Green's arms seem to be breaking off when he waves.

- The kicking sound plays after Green is kicked.

- When the band are playing, you can hear drums and the xylophone, but the people playing them aren't moving.

- When Penguin swallows the guns, they are not gun shaped at all. More like, cylindrical.

- The Guitar Guy's audition does not always match up to which part of the song he is playing.

- When Mr Director dials the number, there is a LOT of movement.

- MORE TO COME. Whenever.
